Inspired by the ECHO project we will show you advanced microphone systems, not only in ambisonics.
We are convinced, that these systems will also inspire you and may be helpful, if you have to record an orchestra. No matter which size.
As these microphone systems are advanced (howly cow!), we kindly ask for your patience. We are still in the process of gaining experiences ourselves and then it will take some more time to boil it down to microphone systems which will be affordable.
The PCMA-3D v2
The PCMA-3D v2 setup is the first setup we are tinkering with. The tutorial is still in review and we can't wait to publish it along with the shopping list.
The "Air Cage"
The "Air Cage" is another setup from the ECHO project, which provides a good translation to Dolby Atmos and fold-downs.
