Gear

This is one important axiom about sound engineering:
Once you've been infected with the “sound virus”, you'll never recover from it. Period!

One symptom of ths sound virus is that you will never have enough gear, and you will certainly never ever have the “right” gear. 

This is no different with Ambisonic, and lately there have been many new and very fascinating developments. This includes not only compact microphone systems, but also many plug-ins for DAWs.

So let's splitt here and have separated parts for Hardware, Microphones and Software.
