It's great to do great recordings, but you can get more out of it, if you transfer them into ambisonic and discover new immersive experiences. Check out the updated version of the Double IRT cross article
Take your "Double IRT cross" out into the fields
We just added a new tutorial on our patreon site about how to put your double IRT cross into a regular backpack and take it out into the fields and record great soundscapes.
An immersive 3D system with eight regular SDC cardioids:
"Double IRT cross"
When extend a regular IRT cross with another and point the microphones in a little different direction, you will get a very compact and versatile immersive 3D system of microphones. And you won't have to break the bank for it.

Interview on YouTube with Michael G Wagner
Sometimes, things just happen. They can happen out of nowhere.
One day, I received a message from Michael G Wagner via his Discord server, where he asked if I would like to do an interview with him. Of course I wanted to! :-)
We exchanged some ideas upfront and arranged a time.
The interview was a lot of fun. I hope I could get my passion about ambisonic across.
