Reaper

Reaper

Reaper is a DAW, or a piece of software, that runs on your computer to process the digital signals you have recorded.

There are plenty of DAWs out there and all of them are great and have many advantages. So it becomes a matter of taste and your personal workflow, which DAW you will choose.

We have chosen Reaper as our DAW quite a while ago, when it was the one that provided 64 channels of output AND didn't cost a fortune. It had (and sometimes still have) it's limitations in comparison to other "BIG DAW"s like Pro-Tools. But the price is unbeatable.

So, what about the costs? After you finished your 60 days of evaluation, Reaper will ask you everytime you start it, if you wouldn't like to buy it.

Purchase a REAPER License

A new license includes free upgrades through REAPER version 8.99. There is only one version of REAPER. The license price depends on how you use it.

You may use the discounted license if:

So, decide yourself, if that is a good offer for you.
Of course you may use ANY OTHER DAW, but than you have to "transfer" all what will be shown yourself. That is not done with a snip of a finger, but no rocket science either.

What we like also very much about Reaper is the fact, that it runs on all of the three major operating systems: Linux, MacOC, Windows.
But this is not necessarily true for all the plug-ins you want to use. So please check accordingly.

Reaper may seem a little strange and unusual at first. But trust us, it only takes a few days to get familiar with how Reaper is organized, and then it becomes a breeze.
