We entered all of our equipment in a spreadsheet and added the following information:

• Serial numbers - For insurance purposes
• Weight - For planning when packing backpacks

Here we focus on the weight.

With the practical VLOOKUP function, you can easily compile the items you want to take with you in a separate spreadsheet.
The weights are transferred from the “master spreadsheet” to the separate spreadsheet and added up.

This list can be easily exported as a PDF and transferred to your cell phone or printed out in the traditional way.
